My Little Box of Delight today held this set of technic nail polishes in lilac and a deeper purple shade. I might have to try the other polish over the top of one of these to see how it looks 😁

Happy December 3rd everyone! I hope you’re all having as much fun with your calendars as I am with mine 😁

These very pretty snowflake earrings from my TreatBoxUK calendar will be off to a new home again once I have found one for them. I have had my ears pierced many times over the years but I suffer with an awful lot of ear infections so they never stay open for long 😢

Today’s Naked Marshmallow is flavoured Cinnamon Churro and was really tasty. Just the right amount of cinnamon to give a good hit of flavour without it becoming fiery 🥵😆

A gorgeous seasonal red nail polish by Nails Inc was today’s Amazon Beauty surprise. Just what’s needed for the next few weeks 💅🏻

Little Box of Delights

I did have a hint at what might be in today’s Little Box of Delight as written on the underside was “wax melts” 😂 They smell slightly sweet and minty so I’m guessing they are Candy Cane scented 😁

I know I’ve not included my Nourished advent today but until they gummy changes I don’t really see the point in showing you the same thing day after day 😏

And that’s Day 3 done, I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings 😁🎄

Advent Calendars – Day 9

ASOS – St Tropez Instant Tan Gloss. I’m kind of glad to be getting through most of the self tanning things early this month and really happy they’re not all coming on the same day. As nice as some of these may be, I prefer to be ghostlike in appearance 😉

 
L’Occitane – Shampoo. I love this shampoo! I tried it first from last years calendar and I love the scent of it and that you only need a little but my hair adores it, it leaves it silky and soft and I cant wait to try the conditioner I got a couple of days ago with this!

 
Look Fantastic – Bellapiere Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder. I had to do a lot of googling of this product to find out what it is, what it can do for me and how do I use it! It sounds interesting and once I get a certain item from another calendar (on another day yet to come!) I will have everything I need to banish those pesky dark circles and to add highlighting  😉

 
M&S – Nails Inc Nail Polish in Molten Star. This is a gorgeous golden colour and I think between this and the one from my Tili box, I’m set for my nails this winter, I just need them all to grow back now after most of them broke but at least they stayed long (and looked lovely) for our first family Christmas meal a few weeks ago 😀

 
Mrs Brimbles – Cactus enamel dots. OK, we’ve gone back to the ‘WTF were they thinking’ items with this calendar again. Really not sure what I can do with these but maybe the dots will come in handy at some point 🙂

 
You Beauty – Makeup Revolution PRO looks Palette in Stripped & Bare. I was a little nervous about this as I wear little make up these days but the colours in the palette are really nice as you can see over on my Instagram so I guess I’ll be experimenting with this 🙂

It’s available roughly every other month at a price of £20 (no p&p) and unlike most beauty boxes, there is no subscription, you just purchase the ones you like the look of (and multi purchase ones you think are great value from what I’ve seen on social media!) That all seems like a pretty good variety to me, some brands I know well, some I’m looking forward to trying out and some I’ve not heard of before. Tili actually stands for ‘Try it, Love it’ which sounds like a pretty good idea to me now my box is here!

Advent Calendars – Day 10

At the front is the gorgeous pen which was in my Mrs Brimbles calendar today. It writes with blue ink and is very comfortable in the hand. The writing on it says ‘Your happy story’ so I think this will have to go with the journal I’m planning on keeping next year, it seems right 🙂

On the Left is D’s Lindor of the day and we’re back on red (milk chocolate) again today.

Next to that is a tube of Ultra Rich Face Cream from my L’Occitane calendar.This smells wonderful and even with how thick it is, it felt really refreshing going on so I’m going to have to investigate this for future purchase 🙂

Next to that is another nail colour from the M&S calendar, it feels a bit odd to have both nail colours on consecutive days especially with how similar they are. This one being a plainer version of the one from yesterday and also a gel type.

Finally there is a mini nail file from the Sanctuary calendar. Sadly this was held in place with a big blob of unforgiving glue so the back side is pretty badly ripped up. I’m finding myself getting more and more disappointed with this calendar as the days pass, it’s only little niggles with it, like this glue thing but getting the products out each morning can be difficult with the way it has been designed and put together. As certain as I am that I really want 2 of these calendars again, I really don’t want this brand next year.
