ASOS – 111Skin Limited Edition Gold Brightening Treatment Mask. I always prefer a cloth face mask (so much less mess normally!) and this feels like one inside the packet so that’s another pampering evening to look forward to 😀
L’Occitane – Amande Delicious Hands. This is a lovely rich nourishing hand cream. Sadly the scent is way too strong for me and I really can’t use this, I’m sure I will find a good home for it however 🙂
Look Fantastic – Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. So this is the first of my 4 doubles to arrive, I found the other in my ASOS calendar earlier in the month. This is a product I use and these small sizes are great for me to take away with us so I’m really happy with this one 😀
M&S – Alpha H Liquid Gold Rose. I have the regular version of this which I use a few times a week so it’ll be interesting to see how this one works and which one is better for me 🙂
Mrs Brimbles – DIY Paperclips. Another disappointment, yes, paperclips are stationery but what’s with the DIY bit? What I really have here are 2 paperclips, 2 circles of felt and 2 buttons without fixings.
You Beauty – Rodial Dragons Blood Eye Mask. Another mask, YAY! OK just for the eyes but still, that’s another pampering evening to promise myself at some point when life’s a little less manic 😀
ASOS – Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel. This claims to be a 10-in-1 hydrator and tells me I can use it daily or as an intensive overnight mask. That sounds good and I think I will try it as a mask as I always have more face creams than masks 🙂
L’Occitane – Ultra Rich Shower Cream. This beautifully scented shower cream always leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. The scent is a little sweet for me but it’s one I put up with for the benefits I get from it.
Look Fantastic – Molton Brown GingerLily Body Wash. This is quite a delicately scented body wash and I can’t decide if I like it or not, it’s kind of floral but not, kind of spicy but not. I guess the only thing to do is to give it a go properly and see what I think then 😀
M&S – Look Good Feel Better Sculpting Sponge. This was an either/or item in this calendar this year. Either you got this or you got an Ultrasun Ultralip. I’m really happy that my calendar had the sponge as I have loads of lip products but I needed a sponge for the banana powder that I found in the Look Fantastic calendar 2 days ago 🙂
Mrs Brimbles – Sticky notes!!! YAY everyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with sticky notes! I just find them really useful and you can get them in so many pretty designs these days that there’s no reason really to stick to just plain ones 🙂
You Beauty – Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. From the back of this can I cant decide exactly what this is as it says it is an alternative to dry shampoo but it also makes it sound like a root lift/volumiser. I guess I’ll find out when I use it as a root lift since I do use those and I’m in need of a new one very soon 😀
ASOS – REN Clarimatte T-zone Control Cleansing Gel. I have an area around my nose and mouth which can be prone to breakouts which means this is a lovely thing to find so that part of my face has it’s own treat too 🙂
L’Occitane – Soap with verbena leaves. This is a lovely scented soap the only downside is the included verbena leaves as they can be quite rough sometimes.
Look Fantastic – Oskia Renaissance Mask. I’m starting to love face masks and this one sounds very interesting as it has 2 stages, I’m looking forward to seeing what this can do for me 🙂
M&S – Formula Innovate Radiance Reveal Peel. Another mask but this one has interesting sounding instructions “Massage on to cleansed, dry skin until the transformation is complete” I wonder what I’ll transform into 😉
Mrs Brimbles – Another disappointing day, pink and purple bows. neither Christmassy nor stationery. I guess they may come in handy for gifts at other times of the year but I want stationery and the more Christmassy the better!
You Beauty – This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. I’ve heard many good things about this spray, I’m looking forward to seeing if it will work for me as a good nights sleep doesn’t happen always these days 😦
ASOS – St Tropez Instant Tan Gloss. I’m kind of glad to be getting through most of the self tanning things early this month and really happy they’re not all coming on the same day. As nice as some of these may be, I prefer to be ghostlike in appearance 😉
L’Occitane – Shampoo. I love this shampoo! I tried it first from last years calendar and I love the scent of it and that you only need a little but my hair adores it, it leaves it silky and soft and I cant wait to try the conditioner I got a couple of days ago with this!
Look Fantastic – Bellapiere Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder. I had to do a lot of googling of this product to find out what it is, what it can do for me and how do I use it! It sounds interesting and once I get a certain item from another calendar (on another day yet to come!) I will have everything I need to banish those pesky dark circles and to add highlighting 😉
M&S – Nails Inc Nail Polish in Molten Star. This is a gorgeous golden colour and I think between this and the one from my Tili box, I’m set for my nails this winter, I just need them all to grow back now after most of them broke but at least they stayed long (and looked lovely) for our first family Christmas meal a few weeks ago 😀
Mrs Brimbles – Cactus enamel dots. OK, we’ve gone back to the ‘WTF were they thinking’ items with this calendar again. Really not sure what I can do with these but maybe the dots will come in handy at some point 🙂
You Beauty – Makeup Revolution PRO looks Palette in Stripped & Bare. I was a little nervous about this as I wear little make up these days but the colours in the palette are really nice as you can see over on my Instagram so I guess I’ll be experimenting with this 🙂
ASOS – Korres Santorini Vine Shower Gel. This smells really good and is a great size to take away when we go away for a weekend. Since I received my Tili box I’ve been looking into trying more of their products so now I can!
L’Occitane – Light comforting cream. This sounds like something I need to try the next time I develop an angry dry red patch somewhere and hope it clears it up for me 🙂
Look Fantastic – Redken No Blow Dry Cream. When I found out what was going to be in this calendar, this was one of the products I was most interested in as I much prefer to air dry my hair as I find I get more volume that way, blow drying it tends to leave it a little deflated no matter what I do or use!
M&S – Eyeko Black Magic Mascara. I’ve heard good things about this mascara and with it being a sample tube that’s great for me, it means I wont have to feel guilty about using it 3 times then forgetting about it again for a year 😉
Mrs Brimbles – Snow day stickers. These are so cute! I’m not sure about the ‘Burr’ one though, maybe it was supposed to be Brrr? They will come in very handy for me next week when I start my wrapping 😀
You Beauty – Look good feel better Angled blending brush. A good brush is always a great ting to receive and these are not only good brushes but when you purchase something the money goes towards supporting women with cancer which is a great cause 🙂
ASOS – Lottie London Arch Rival Volumising Eyebrow Powder. Anything that can be used to help eyebrows is a good thing in my opinion, I’ve been using clear mascara on mine since the 80’s to try and tame them and sometimes it even works!
L’Occitane – Ultra Rich Body Lotion. This smells divine and it is very rich and creamy and works really well to keep those pesky dry patches at bay!
Look Fantastic – James Read H20 Illuminating Tan Mist for Body. Another of the self tanning products that I wasn’t looking forward to. I have however found a way to dispose of these thanks to a friend of our niece!
M&S – Korres Wild Rose Advanced Repair. This states on the tube that it is corrective facial skin retexturising. That does sound interesting with how dry my skin can become.
Mrs Brimbles – Dream & Explore notebook/journal. This beautiful book has restored my faith in this calendar, 2 days of stationery in a row, hopefully it’s the start of it being an amazing calendar again! The writing on the front of the book says ‘Twinkle twinkle little stars, How many there are in the sky! Let the children try to count? I remember this starry night!’ How lovely that sounds 🙂
You Beauty – Ciate Travel size wonderwand Gel Kohl Liner. This doesn’t have a colour marked on it but it doesn’t look quite black from the case. I’ve not tried a gel liner before, maybe I should give this a go 🙂
ASOS – NIP+FAB Glycolic Fix Serum. I use something similar currently so this is great for me to pop in a bag when we go away instead of having to take my bigger version!
L’Occitane – Conditioner. I’ve been looking forward to getting this one since I got the calendar as I loved the sample of shampoo I received in last years one. I’m curious to see how this works with my hair 🙂
Look Fantastic – This Works In Transit. This says it is a mask, moisturiser and primer all in one, that sounds great to me!
M&S – Stila Stay all Day in Perla. I’ve not used liquid lipsticks yet but this one is a very pretty natural shade so I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.
Mrs Brimbles – A cactus pen. Finally I have a stationery item from my stationery advent calendar! A pen YAY! It writes in black ink so will be very handy even though it’s not very pretty/cute being a cactus!
You Beauty – Monuskin Illuminating Primer. Reading the back this says it can be used alone as well as under cosmetics and that it gives sun protection so it again sounds like a good all rounder 🙂
