Ohhhhh 2 posts in 1 day 😀 I admit I have had deliveries over the past week to 10 days but I’ve not been able to post them due to them being either gifts for people who might spot the posts or review products which I cant share with you so sorry about that.
The postman was very good to me today as you can see above! On the far left is a recipe booklet I won from Filippo Berio who ran an instant win ‘shake the tree’ game recently. It’s a thin pamphlet but there are some very interesting recipes in it.
Next to that on the top are 2 samples of Britney Spears perfume, I received them via a sample offered from SoPost and the sachet below them came via SoPost as well. This is a sample of John Frieda’s Frizz Ease Deep Conditioner. I normally hate receiving samples in sachets as you never really take scissors into the shower now do you?lol They never seem to tear right for me without scissors but this is a rather large sample within the sachet so hopefully it will tear right, it’s normally the ones with very little in that go really wrong for me!
Finally over on the right is a lovely gift from Sainsbury’s. This came as a brilliant surprise to me this morning, the items they sent are 4 gold chocolate coins, a small packet of gold pearls and a sample tube of Dirty Works creamy body wash. All very nice and appreciated, Thanks Sainsbury’s 😀
I am SO excited about this delivery! Thanks to Paula for writing her post about all the Beauty Advent Calendars available this year I chose this one from Look Fantastic and had it pre-ordered in case it sold out as quickly as it has done other years! It hasn’t sold out so far if you are interested in getting one too (Paula has posted a video on YouTube with the contents if you are curious about what is inside those amazing looking doors!) So I have 1 more I know being delivered and 1 more to try to decide upon. There are 2/3 I’m looking into but I already can’t wait for December the 1st to start opening doors, drawers and boxes!
Beside the calendar is a small box of Cadbury’s Roses which were sent to me from a Friend via an app that Cadbury’s ran on Twitter. After yesterday’s good news with my diet and exercise I’m keeping these for a special occasion, maybe Christmas!
2 posts in 2 days, see I am getting back to this 😀
I received this little bag of chocolate buttons from Cadbury UK on Twitter, I simply directed their cow to find the bag on the pinned post on their page. This is still running today and tomorrow so if you’ve not tried it yet, give it a go, all the instructions are on the link in that post.
One sad thing to note is I have seen mentioned by a couple of people that once they had viewed their winning video their link had been clicked and win claimed by someone else 😦 so, if you get a reply with a sopost link, click that first and claim your chocolate! 😀
I decided to open tomorrow’s one box today as I’m expecting to be busy most of the day and this way you all can see everything that came in the calendars 🙂
On the left is a tube of Wonder Body from my Sanctuary calendar. It claims to hydrate, illuminate, transform, refine, even, correct and perfect. Well, that’s a lot to live up to, I’m going to have to try this out at some point!
Next to that is a cute little smiley notebook which was the last item from my Mrs Brimbles calendar. It has some lined pages inside and some blank coloured ones as well, I have some idea’s for uses for this, it just depends on what Santa delivers tonight 😉
Next to that on the bottom is a Burt’s Bees’ beeswax lip balm with vitamin E and peppermint which came from my M&S calendar. Always handy to have around the house and in my bag so another I’m pleased to receive.
Above that you can see that D’s last lindor of the day was a final red one 🙂
Top right is a bottle of Fleurs de Cerisier eau de toilette from my L’Occitane calendar. This smells really lovely and I’m so pleased to have this alongside the other items from this fragrance range.
The final box has come from my M&S calendar and held a bottle of Shay & Blue Atropa Belladonna fragrance. This is really lovely, I had to smell it when I opened it and it seemed very light to me with a slight sherbertyness to it 😀
Only 1 more full day of these to go now, I’m thinking I might cheat with the M&S calendar and open box 25 tomorrow as it’s the only one that has the 25th day so it would be all lonely if I left it 😉
On the left is the most amazing (to me) thing that has come from my Mrs Brimbles calendar so far and that is saying something as I have been amazed by almost everything that I’ve discovered! This is a pair of mini scissors! When I opened it and saw it said it was scissors my first thought was “No way!” I then opened it up and found that actually it really is a pair of scissors and they are quite good ones too! The cap comes off to reveal the blades held together with a small band, remove the band and the black edge springs out to reveal itself as the second arm of the scissors. Another reason to be amazed, this is the first pair of scissors I have received in many years that has not required the use of scissors (or more violent means) to extract them from their packaging!
Bottom right is a tube of Roses et Reines hand cream from my L’Occitane calendar which smells exactly as it sounds like it should.
Above that on the left is a tube of Gentle Polish Body Scrub from my Sanctuary calendar.
Next to that is Studio 10 Miracle Effect priming serum from my M&S calendar, I wonder if this one can live up to its name?
Top right is D’s lindor of the day and today’s one is a red milk chocolate one 🙂
Top left is a very cute coin purse (?) from my Mrs Brimbles calendar.
Next to that is a bottle of Gentle toner enriched with Shea from my L’Occitane calendar
Top right is a tube of Velvety hand cream from my Sanctuary calendar
Bottom left is D’s lindor of the day and today’s one has a milk chocolate shell filled with White chocolate 🙂
Bottom right is a Leighton Denny mini crystal nail file from my M&S calendar. It looks and feels good and is just the right size to pop in my bag 😀
Top left is another very pretty washi tape from my Mrs Brimbles calendar, I really can’t wait for Sunday to see which of the journals/planners I shortlisted for next year D has bought for me to use all these goodies I have been getting in!
Below that is some shampoo from my L’Occitane calendar. This is another product that I’ve not tried yet but have been looking at. It smells a little citrussy and a little herbal so it’s another thing to look forward to trying 🙂
In the middle is one of the main reasons I wanted the Sanctuary calendar. I find micellar water works really well with my skin and this is a foaming version. I know I could have just purchased a bottle to try but then I wouldn’t have got some of the other goodies that I have from this calendar 🙂
Top right is D’s lindor of the day and today’s is the Strawberry and Cream one again
Bottom left is a small tube of PUR correcting primer from my M&S calendar.
